Good morning, gentlemen. It's Christian Kaladiud here, closing us out this week for our final man up moment in Proverbs chapter 5. My father-in-law, Pastor Steve, will be continuing in Proverbs chapter 6 next Monday, so make sure you go ahead and tune in. We also wanted to note today's a very important day for our nation, a day that will frankly live in infamy. September 11th, 2001 was a tragic day. However, so many of our first responders were heroic that day. So if you're a first responder listening, we just wanted to go ahead and let you know. Whether you're a policeman, a firefighter, uh, an EMT, we just want to let you know that we are thankful for what you do, and we are thankful for your service. Let's dive into today's devotional, and it's called Nothing Is Hidden. Proverbs chapter 5, verse 21 says, For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all your paths. We see that King Solomon is closing this chapter with a very honest warning. With the reminder that we are not operating in secret. He says, Your ways are in full view of the Lord. Not some ways, not just the public ones, not just the ones we have on Instagram, all of our ways. You see, every man that reads this has told himself some version of a lie. Nobody will know. And gentlemen, that lie only works because we forget who's actually watching. Not a suspicious wife or girlfriend. Not a nosy friend. God himself. You see, the eyes of God see into what no human eye can reach. And that is that a man's private life before God matters more than his public reputation before men. Character isn't what you do when others are watching. It's what you do when you're certain that no one is. You see, the book of Proverbs, it never separates the religious part of our life from the ordinary part. There's no compartment where God isn't watching. Every path, every decision, every hidden moment is in full view of the Lord. And this should sober us as men that might be living a double life. But for those of us that are walking in the light, this same truth is a comfort, not a threat. And if God sees everything, he also sees the faithfulness that nobody else notices, the temptations that we might have walked away from that had no audience, the discipline that we kept with no applause. Solomon isn't ending this chapter on fear alone. He's ending it on accountability. The type of accountability that produces freedom. Freedom from the exhausting work of hiding. Freedom to actually be the same man in every room. So here's our man up challenge today. We need to ask ourselves honestly is there anything in my life right now that only works because I think no one's watching? Bring it to the light today. Tell a brother. Confess it to God. Take the step to end it. Gentlemen, we have and will always have an audience of one. We need to start living like it. Let's pray. Father, thank you that nothing in my life is hidden from you. Lord Jesus, we pray that you would forgive us for the moments that we might have lived like you weren't watching. Make us men whose private life matches our public ones. Let the freedom of being fully known lead us to walk faithfully in the light all of our days. We love you, we praise you, and we thank you. In your name and in your blood we pray. Amen and amen.
